Hey folks, check out the timeline. I've updated it with quite a bit of information regarding the last 2 years since my brother was murdered.
In short, the case is on it's THIRD district attorney circuit. It's been nearly TWO YEARS since my brother was murdered and his "alleged" murderer still walks freely, awaiting trial that is hopefully happening in November.
There will not be a civil suit against the Henderson family because an attorney would not take our case and we're at the statue of limitations.
Originally, Kevin Wangerin of Bullard & Wangerin, LLP, agreed to represent the civil suit for the Nicholas Phinazee Bryan Estate but he dropped us, in a VERY unprofessional way, immediately after the Spalding County Circuit recused themselves in April 2021. We do not recommend this firm.
The alleged murderer, Robert L. Henderson, Jr. is claiming "self-defense" in an immunity hearing on November 10.
Trial should begin on Monday, November 15, 2021.
We will keep you posted on the trial - we may need/want you to attend and help support our side.
